Project Overview
CJS supported Raleigh Water on an on-call effort to replace and rehabilitate aging infrastructure in the Buck Jones Road area of southwest Raleigh. In anticipation of future development, the project improved system integrity and reliability through the CCTV inspection of 9,310 LF of vitrified clay sewer mains, the design and replacement of 3,955 LF of 8-inch sanitary sewer and 42 manholes, the rehabilitation of 4,477 LF of sanitary sewer using UV-cured CIPP lining, and the replacement of 9,300 LF of cast iron water main. Bid alternates were included for both water and UV CIPP sewer lining, ultimately becoming the City’s first UV CIPP installation.
