ELEVATION WATER DISTRICT 2017-18 HYDRAULIC IMPROVEMENTS

This project consists of approximately 11,000 LF of new 12-inch water main along NCDOT right-of-way and a new 525 gpm water booster pump station for the Elevation Water District in Johnston County. The project is part of a series of water system improvements to provide the necessary water supply to the western region of the County and across hydraulic gradients, while also increasing elevation storage tank turnover and improving water quality. CJS is providing design, survey, easement mapping, permitting, and bid phase assistance for the project. The new booster pump station site will consist of a prefabricated duplex packaged booster station, metering, pad mounted standby diesel generator, electrical rack, and telemetry. Regulatory approvals for the project were required from NCDEQ Public Water Supply and Land Quality Section, NCDOT, CSX Railroad, and the Johnston County Planning Department.
